Meg Byrne

Meg is the Head of our High Throughput Laboratory Operations, where she brings more than two decades of expertise from biotechnology and academic research. Meg oversees the design, deployment and continual optimization of our scalable, automation-driven somatic genomics platform. Prior to joining Quotient, Meg held senior positions at bit.bio and the Wellcome Sanger Institute, where she established and led multidisciplinary teams in genome editing, cell engineering, and bioprocess development. Her background equips her with a deep understanding of how large-scale cell and genomic workflows integrate with data-rich pipelines to accelerate therapeutic innovation. Meg is committed to building agile, cross-functional teams and establishing reproducible, high-quality operations that help Quotient deliver on its promise: to turn the natural genetic innovations inside every tissue into the medicines of tomorrow.

Meg earned her Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in regenerative medicine and bioprocessing from University College London. She has also contributed to industry and regulatory initiatives focused on genome-editing standards and stem cell-based therapeutics.
