Ed Hackett

Ed is the HR lead of Quotient Therapeutics, bringing more than 19 years of leadership experience across global corporates, scale-ups, and high-growth start-ups. Ed joined Quotient in January 2024 to lead the Company’s global people function. He is responsible for shaping the Company’s people and culture strategy, enabling scientific excellence and sustainable growth. Ed began his career in recruitment before serving over five years in the British Army as an Infantry Commander and later an Intelligence Officer, where he specialized in people intelligence. Following the military, he joined Amazon, building HR capabilities during a period of rapid international expansion, before moving into financial services with Munich Re. Since 2020, Ed has focused on the start-up sector, helping organizations build culture, leadership, and performance systems from the ground up. 

Ed holds a degree from the University of Exeter.
